The Best Of Sixpence None The Richer
Before getting this The Best Of Sixpence None The Richer, I only had one of one Sixpence album: their self titled album. Well that is very likely change sometime soon.

When I put the CD into my CD Rom to encode so I could listen to it from my iPOD I figured I would know 1 or 2 songs on it. Turns out I was very wrong about that, the total came out to be 6 or 7. I honestly never realized how many good songs they have recorded. One of the nice things I find about best of albums is the extras they come with: brand new songs, B side songs, rough cuts, special artwork or all of the above. This one has 3 news songs and something that makes it very unique. They have included the Japanese version of their hit “Kiss Me”. It is totally amazing how they were able to translate the words and yet make it like it should sound that way. I must add that the 3 new songs sound absolutely great.

I think even if you are only a partial Sixpence fan that this is an album that you should get. If nothing else you will get the 3 new songs.

On a side note I must mention that I was listening to the album at work so I could write this review. A coworker, who up until that point had never heard of Sixpence heard most of the songs while working next to me. After hearing him talk it sounds like he is going to buy the album. That was just an unexpected result of listening to the album.
