Jars of Clay Remixes

Flood (Savage Flavor Remix)
Being the first Jars of Clay Remix I had ever heard, the Savage Flavor Remix offered a unique outlook on the music of Jars of Clay. I don’t feel that this is a typical remix of a song. It seems to incorporate elements of Flood that might have originally been included but through the recording process were cut.

Liquid (The "SJM" Remix)
The SJM Remix of Liquid is not one or my particular favorites songs. But I do like how aspects of the Frail Liquid and Jars of Clay Liquid are mixed together to make it. Over all you get a song with a good beat without losing the message pf the song.

Facts about Liquid (The "SJM" Remix)
The ok 1, 2, 3, 4, was taken from the Frail version of Boy on a String.

Blind (The Fluffy-Sav Smoothed Out Mix)
Jeff Savages remix of Blind is my absolute favorite remix. It totally refreshes a song I like. The original version is good, but the remix is a version you can dance to. And the fact that the only original part of the song is the vocals over a fresh beat is just pure genius in my opinion.

Flood (Remix by Adrian Belew)
This is your normal Flood by Jars of Clay. But because of people who wanted an edge sound, Adrian added an extra part to it, thus causing the popularity of Flood and Jars of Clay to increase. At one point this was my favorite version. I, like a lot of people, like the added guitar.

Flood (The Junior Vasquez Mix)
This is perhaps the hardest to find Jars of Clay remix. And it is unlike any Jars remix I have heard. Made for dance clubs, you only get to hear bits and pieces of the song. There is no guitar part that even lets you know it is Flood you’re listening to.
