little bit o info bout the cd itself:
in a familiar sense of seatbelt tuba, the guys have decided to give us some different looks at some of their songs......this time, we see how msot of them were before they were produced and recorded for an album. along with two remixes, and three new songs......mighty pleasing to the jars fan and the non-jars fan

unforgetful you remix
like most other jars remixes, its a much more hip-hop, techno sound......not my personal favorite, but if you play guitar like i do, the guitar parts have been deleted from the track so its something good to play to......

crazy times studio demo
this one is not too different from the studio mastered version......except for the louder electric guitar (rock on!), so a good track to listen to.....

goodbye goodnight studio demo
this one isnt too different from the album version, but it includes charlie on an accordian AND an organ of some sort. the "coffee choir" line doesnt sound as great as the album mix, but still an enjoyable track mainly thanks to the longer instrumental break with louder barber shop vocals.......

river constantine studio demo
all acoustic, shorter, and lacking the chorus from the album mix......but still really relaxing

grace studio demo
one of my favorite tracks, includes a totally different chorus, and a much louder and faster rock feel......it's even got an electric solo resembling chicago and other hard rock solos......

headstrong studio demo
this one's all acoustic, and a very cool sounding song, just without the quirky percussion from the roaring lambs mix

coffee song from seatbelt tuba
we've all hopefully heard this one.......still good to the last drop......

cant erase it studio demo
another one of my fav tracks, this one is a little jazzier, but all around the same sounding.......

kaylos
quite a quirky crazy track, with bluesy guitar, a hard drum beat, and a turntable playing the loop of perhaps the jars themselves proclaming "kaylos!"

the new math unfinished
this song is very beatles-esque, focusing on charlie's organ sounds, and matt's acoustic string plucking.....ending with a smaple of some math professor talking about elements......pretty cool

fly farther with allison krauss
a beautiful song telling the story of a couple through their marriage......i personally cried the first time i heard it just becuase of its beauty, allison krauss once again sounds like an angel, and the combination of her and dan's voice is nothing less than amazing

collide studio demo
sounds pretty much the same, except for a very obvious string arrangement (probably generated from keyboards), still the awesome song it's always been

frail instrumental from the original frail demo cd
still as good as it was on frail........a slow acoustic instrumental that will flow awesome images through your mind as you listen to it.........great song
